  • Karnataka launched the CoE SpaceTech Foundation in Bengaluru to serve as India’s first state-led Centre of Excellence for Space Technology.

  • Launched by – Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS) and Satcom Industry Association (SIA-India).
  • Goal: Commercialize deep-tech space innovations into scalable businesses.
  • Focus: Incubates startups, trains talent, and builds cross-sector solutions for agriculture, climate, and defense.
