Program Details

For KEA Agriculture Officer (AO) and Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) Examination – 2026

Starts on 1st May 2026.

( This test series is primarily designed for those eligible under the 85% quota, i.e., B.Sc. (Agri) graduates) 

The KEA is conducting a recruitment drive – 945 Posts; 

  • Non HK Region – 672 Agriculture Officers (AO –86 posts) and Assistant Agriculture Officers (AAO – 586 posts) 
  • Hyderabad-Karnataka Region – 273 Agriculture Officers (AO –42 posts) and Assistant Agriculture Officers (AAO – 231 posts) posts.

KRISHI VIJAYA AO/AAO Test Series is a meticulously curated initiative by Insights IAS under the InstaKAS platform, specifically crafted for aspirants of Agriculture Officer (AO) and Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) exams. Exam Structure:

The written exam will consist of two papers: General Paper and Specific Paper (Agriculture). + Langauage Paper:

Exam Dates: 

Stage 1: Kannada Language Qualifying Test (June 6, 2026).

Stage 2: Competitive Written Exam (Offline-OMR) (June 7, 2026, for RPC Region).

Pattern: The written exam consists of two papers (300 marks each) covering General Knowledge and Technical Subject (Agriculture). 


Non HK Region Exam Dates: 

  • Kannada Language Test: 6th June 2026 ;
  • General and Specific Paper (85% posts): 7th June 2026 ;
  • Specific Paper (15% posts):  7th June 2026.

HK Region Exam Dates: 

  • Kannada Language Test: 6th JUNE 2026 ; 
  • General and Specific Paper (85% posts):  14th JUNE 2026 ; 
  • Specific Paper (15% posts): 14th JUNE 2026.
